I'm guessing the following picture, based on other pictures at the time, was right around the time I was born, 1948.

There's one last picture taken about the same time.  It's part of a kitchen which I'm expecting to be our kitchen in Milwaukee.  I wonder why the picture was taken.  It was probably very unusual back then, with the cost of film, to take pictures of something other than people.
